Quality and OH & S

Intercon Millar Logistics (IML) takes immense pride in its dedicated people and ethos of aiming for excellence.
IML is an accredited company in both quality and safety, as denoted by the endorsed company standard marks displayed at the top of our web pages. Achieving accreditations in quality and safety is a testament to IML’s culture of commitment to high standards.

Quality Assurance

Intercon Millar Logistics (IML) became a quality endorsed company in August of 1996, achieving the International Standards Organisation accreditation (ISO 9001:2000).

We demonstrate our commitment to quality in every area of our business, from one-on-one customer service to careful packing and delivery of goods on time.

OH & S (Occupational Health and Safety)

Intercon Millar Logistics (IML) constantly strives to meet its target of no harm or injury to any member of staff, contractor or visitor. This policy applies to every workplace under the control of IML and any activities required to maintain facilities or services.

IML is proud to display the Australian/New Zealand Standards Safety Endorsed logo on all of our web pages. This accreditation (AS/NZS 4801:2001) was achieved in March of 2008.

IML’s OHS strategy involves three major approaches:

  1. A consultative attitude, with regular safety meetings and two-way discussion between staff and managers to identify and address risk.
  2. Review, both scheduled and impromptu, in order to assess the day to day operations of our sites and workplace environments.
  3. Education: the involvement of all personnel in regular safety and health training activities.

With safety and health always treated as a primary focus of the business, IML’s management and staff are collectively committed to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment in order to protect our people and the community.
